Refund Policy
Thank you for being part of the StepLeague community. This policy explains how subscription billing, cancellations, and refund requests are handled.
1. Subscription Billing
StepLeague subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis. Your $10 subscription fee is charged at the start of each monthly challenge period. Billing is processed automatically and renews each month until you cancel.
2. Non-Refundable Charges
Subscription fees are non-refundable once a challenge period has begun. By joining a monthly step league, you acknowledge that the challenge period starts immediately upon payment and that no refund will be issued for partial months, unused days, or changes of mind after payment.
3. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation:
- You retain access to the current month's challenge through the end of the billing period.
- No further charges will be made after the current billing cycle ends.
- Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund of the current period's charge.
4. Exceptions
Refunds may be considered at StepLeague's sole discretion in the following circumstances:
- Duplicate charges resulting from a billing error
- Platform-wide service outages lasting more than 72 consecutive hours that prevent participation
- Unauthorized account charges reported within 7 days of the transaction
To request a refund under an exception, contact us within 14 days of the charge via our Contact page with your account email and a description of the issue.
5. Payment Disputes
We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card provider. Unresolved chargebacks may result in account suspension. We are committed to resolving billing issues fairly and promptly.
6. Changes to This Policy
StepLeague may update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
